In just a couple of decades, the internet has revolutionized how we do everything, and today we have access like never before.

Google has been on the front lines of this technology, and two free products they offer make traveling the world possible for everyone who can get online. Google Earth and Street View use satellite mapping technology to view every corner of the planet. Going to a webcam directory makes it easy to look for particular feeds of interest. Many webcams are in places otherwise difficult to get to in person, and give us a window to the world we are just discovering. Webcams can be found anywhere on the planet. In fact, the Eyjafjallajokull volcano in Iceland was visible through webcams as it erupted.
